About Us

Dr. Brent Accurso and Dr. Brent Martin are board certified oral and maxillofacial pathologists and co-owners of Oral Pathology Consultants in Pontiac Michigan. Oral Pathology Consultants of Michigan was established over 25 years ago and continues to be one of the largest private oral pathology labs in the country. In addition to providing histopathology and consultation services, Dr’s. Accurso and Martin teach several advanced dental education programs and present at a variety of local and national meetings each year.

As practicing oral pathologists, Dr. Accurso and Dr. Martin are keenly aware of the gap that exists between doctors explaining a diagnosis and patients truly understanding what that diagnosis means. Clear, concise, and consistent messaging are necessary to ensure ideal outcomes and assist in treatment planning. Patients-Path was born out of a desire to close this gap in understanding.

Initially conceived in 2018, Patients-Path has evolved from a simple idea to a unique webapp delivery system that delivers advanced 3D animated videos to patients through nearly any connected device, i.e., tablet, phone, or computer. Available with closed captioning in multiple languages, Patients-Path is committed to serving your practice and your patients.
